Humans who have lived in the Pacific Northwest of Canada have been benefiting from the psilocybe mushroom for thousands of years. It has been used by traditional peoples as well as those who have migrated here from elsewhere in the world. Psilocybe, or magic mushrooms, grow particularly well in this part of the world due to our wet and warmer climate, where mushrooms can thrive year round.
